Meet the Teacher

Hi!  My name is Stephanie Trupp and I am going to be your first grade teacher!  This will be my third year teaching first grade at Parkway.  Prior to that, I worked in Kindergarten as a paraprofessional.  That is super exciting since I have had lots of time to get to know a lot of the kids at Parkway!

I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in 1995. I have taught in coastal Georgia, the mountains of Colorado and even home-schooled our own boys when they were younger.  I love the learning , exploring and fun we will all get to have!

I love teaching reading and can't wait to help students become better readers and expose them to new reading adventures.

I am married to the best husband,  Austin and have three amazing sons, A.J. (19), who is in his sophomore year in college at GSU on a baseball scholarship.  Our two younger sons are Baron (16), who is a very talented artist and is a Life Scout (almost to Eagle) and Cole (15), who enjoys football, baseball and playing the guitar.  They are now all taller than me!  

I can't wait to spend this next year learning and growing with you!
